Color Profile Locations for Macintosh

Macintosh OS X
Color profiles for all users belong in the startup drive's /Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder. For a single user, place them in /Users/%username%/Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder. Note that profiles in the Mac OS 9 system folder's ColorSync Profiles folder will also be used by the OS X system and programs, so the profiles don't need to be in both places, when running Classic inside OS X.
Macintosh OS 9
Color profiles belong in your system folder's ColorSync Profiles folder.
Color Profiles Locations for Windows

Windows 2000/XP/Vista
Color profiles belong in your root drive's %system% (usually named Windows), system32 directory, spool, drivers, in the color directory. All color profile names must end with ".icm" or ".icc".
Windows NT
Color profiles belong in your root drive's %system% (usually named Winnt), system32 directory in the color directory. All color profile names must end with ".icm".
Windows 95-98
Color profiles belong in your root drive's system directory in the color directory. All color profile names must end with ".icm".
You may need to relaunch your programs before the new profiles are accessible.
