We now print directly on almost any untreated substrate material—rolls and rigid sheets! This means we can offer faster turnaround while using less expensive materials.
This new technology provides exciting opportunities for Dodge Color to expand its services to include: Durable outdoor graphics, point-of-purchase displays, graffiti-proof posters and signage, exhibition and stage graphics, banners, flags, architectural decor, etc.
Some benefits of UV-curable inks are:
- UV-curable inks are high quality automotive grade pigments. They offer excellent color vibrancy and are impervious to many solvents, meaning most graffitti can be removed from graphics while in the field.
- UV-cured inks are outdoor durable (3 years untreated, 5 years with lacquer overcoat).
- UV inks are cured on-line—meaning no post curing is required—and jobs are deliverable immediately.
- We can often eliminate the production time and expense of mounting and laminating.

ZÜND UVjet Specifications
- Up to 84.6 inch (2150mm) width by unlimited length (determined by print media). Roll materials may be seamed together to create wider/longer banners.
- Up to 1.57 inch (40mm) material thickness.
- Print resolution: 360dpi. CMYK UV color piezo inkjet.
The ZÜND UVjet prints directly on:
- Plexiglass, wood, cardboard, glass, metal, polyester, polycarbonate, polystyrene, PVC, perforated plates, lightweight fabrics, heavy-gauge textiles, mesh, stone, foamboard, wallpaper, canvas, corrugated materials, ceramics, leather, cork, aluminum, vinyl—and if you've got something else you'd like us to try—we're game!
- Additionally, the printer handles uneven, perforated and multi-dimensional surfaces as well.
